What is your venue’s capacity?

Up to 120 guests for outdoor events. Tables and chairs are included for each package.

What’s the parking situation?

Parking is available on-site and is close to the cottage, ceremony and reception areas. A parking attendant is required for events with more than 50 people.

What’s the rain plan?

Our Pavilion can be used for both a ceremony and reception should there be inclement weather.

What’s the alcohol policy?

All alcoholic beverages and alcohol services must be provided by a professional bartending company.

No outside alcohol is allowed.

How many bathrooms are there?

Inside the cottage, there are three restrooms. One of the restrooms is ADA compliant, and also has a baby changing table.

What’s your vendor policy?

We do not require the use of specific vendors. We do require that they be licensed and insured. Proof of COI must be provided at least 30 business days prior to event.

Is the property handicap accessible?

There is an ADA compliant ramp at the front entrance of the cottage.

Handicap parking is available near the ramp. There is also an ADA compliant bathroom inside the cottage.

Outside, the pavilion, patio and pergola area are all within close proximity and are easily accessible.

The back porch of the cottage, the pondside viewing deck, the pavilion stage and the steps leading to the pond are not handicap accessible.

Can we use the kitchen?

Yes! The prep kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, oven for warming, and microwave and is available for staging and completion of dishes before serving (no food production or cooking).

There is plenty of counter space with outlets. The refrigerator is 32 cubic feet with French doors and freezer on the bottom.

There is no ice maker. Individuals using the kitchen are responsible for cleaning up before leaving.

How do I book my wedding date?

A 50% non-refundable deposit along with a signed contract is required to hold your date.

The remainder of your package cost is due 30 business days from your event date.

Can we have our rehearsal and/or rehearsal dinner at the venue?

Yes! The two-day package (The Azalea) allows plenty of time for a rehearsal and dinner on day one. For the Bluebell and Camelia packages, a rehearsal time can be scheduled prior to the wedding.

Do you allow pets?

Service animals are always welcome!

Couples may also inquire about having their own, well behaved pet (approved on a case by case basis) included in the ceremony and photos.

What is your catering policy?

We do not require you to use specific caterers.

There is a prep kitchen available for staging and completion of dishes before serving (no food production or cooking allowed).

Food trucks are welcome.

Additional Information


There is a separate, refundable security deposit of $500 for all events held at Blue Heron Pond. The security deposit is due 30 business days prior to the event and is refundable within 14 business days after your event.

All events require proof of event insurance.

Security is required for all events.
